Tanner, despite stifling heat, did the whole thing in a 20# vest (he came in later that night to work on his Oly lifts – he trains like a champion!). Also taking on the WOD was Larry, Sue P, Dave G, Nick, Amy and John F. Great effort — tough WOD on a tough day.
And Chaos it was! Banded “Monster” Walks, Tire Step Ups, Sprints, Push Ups, Walking Lunges, and of course the Concept II Rower. “Enjoying” the class, camradrie, and weather was Jeff P and Kyle P with their friend Kim A, Jen L, Pete H, both Sue Ps, Frank B, Julia N, and Jen T. Great turnout!
The Saturday Chaos class was jammed and jammin’! Banded lateral walks, Double leg hurdle jumps, Banded “Monster” walks, Tire jumps, and, of course, Rowing. Those enjoying the workout were Paul and Ashley, Jeff and Kyle, both Sue Ps, Kevin Z, Pete H, Jess G, and the return of Jenn T!
The Saturday morning Chaos class was locked and loaded! New member Julia N brought her brother Joe N as a guest, along with newcomers Allison E and Matt O. Also were regulars Cathy B, Pete H, Jon F, Sue P, and Kyle P. The pix say it all: Chaos!
Sue P has been training at CFC since January and has been one of the more consistent members here. Sue is 52 years old (we got her permission first!) and did a WOD that was a 20 minute AMRAP (As Many Rounds AS Possible) 500m Rows and 20 Burpees. Sue does standard Push ups (not from the knees) and knocked off 80 Burpees! If you don’t think Burpees are hard, try 10. Great job Sue, you are an inspiration.
